KevOnStage Sarasota Concert reviews
Cage the Elephant was even better than before!!!
I enjoyed revisiting KevOnStage. The Pageant exceeded my expectations as a venue. Last year, I caught them at the Back Sheep in Colorado Springs, CO. This was a fantastic spot to watch them because the crowd was minimal, allowing for up-close viewing. I definitely plan on returning to the Pageant. Their performance featured many of their classic tracks, which I adored. I prefer their previous album over the most recent one. Although, they did offer a nice blend of old and new tunes. The band never disappoints with their crowd-pleasing antics. Their ability to engage the audience enhances the overall experience. During the show, three individuals unexpectedly leaped onto the stage and dived into the crowd. One of them hilariously crashed headfirst into the ground, narrowly missing an unsuspecting bystander. It was amusing, and I was relieved it wasn't me. To conclude the evening, they treated us to an encore performance, as expected. It's always a treat to hear a few final songs before embarking on the long journey home. There were some technical difficulties with the guitar amps, prompting some impromptu acoustic strumming and jokes. Eventually, a different guitar was provided, and the goodbyes were played. In summary, the show was outstanding, and I eagerly anticipate their next tour.
